GIRL ARMY 2016: FALL COURSE
The Girl Army 2016 Fall Course is a six- week course that has been divided into two segments: Basic and Intermediate.
Basic: 10/16, 10/23, 10/30 Intermediate: 11/6, 11/13, 11/20
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
In the first three-week basic course, we will present a variety of basic physical and psychological self-defense techniques that may be used against a single unarmed attacker. Each class will conclude with teachers providing role-play scenarios for the students to practice their skills.
In the remaining three-week intermediate course, we will expand on the previous techniques and integrate them into increasingly intense scenarios of physical defense against an unarmed attacker that will culminate in role-play with padded attackers in the final class.
*Students can sign up for the first three weeks only, or all six weeks. You must complete the Fall 2016 Basic Course in order to take the Fall 2016 Intermediate Course.
*We will not accept drop-ins. Space in the class is limited, so please register ahead of time and specify whether you are registering for the 3 or 6 week course when signing up.
*Whether you choose only the first 3 weeks or the full 6 weeks of class, the first day of class (10/16) is mandatory and we highly recommend not missing any classes.
*Please arrive on time to all the classes. If you need to arrive late or leave early from class, please notify one of the teachers in advance. If you do miss a class or some of a class, we may not be able to provide you with make up review for missed material.
